The dissertation is dedicated to the study of hygienic characteristics of swimming pools, features of formation of risk factors of their environment for the visitors' health and substantiation of methodical approach to prophylaxis of negative influence of risk factors of swimming pools environment on the swimmers' health. The basic methods of maintenance are determined and comparative hygienic characteristic of swimming pools is given for visitors - both adults and children.
