Essay

The main regularities of petroleum bitumen modification by petroelum resins (PR) have been examined. The method of PR with carboxyl groups in side chains obtaining has been developed. It has been shown that bitumen adhesive properties may be improved by their modification with carboxyl groups. Principal flow charts of the plant for bitumen modification by PR and the plant for PR with carboxyl groups production have been developed.
