Syzonenko N. Prose of Vasil Shevchuk. Genre-style Features.

The object is prosaic creativity of V. Shevchuk. The aim is to analyze the prosaic works of V. Shevchuk as integrated phenomenon in the context of the Ukrainian literature development in 60 - 90 s of the XX cent. The methods are integrated-system, functional, historical-typological, creative-genetical, biographic receptions. This dissertation investigates the genre-stylistic features of historical, artistic-documentary, autobiographical works of V. Shevchuk; analyses peculiarities of expression of author's attitude in artistic texts; it picks out stylistic dominants of author's prose. For the first time artistic-documentary works were analyzed by the author in full size. The essay of the works of art in the context of the Ukrainian literature development in 60 - 90 s of the XX cent. gave us a possibility to retrace the author's genre searches, to light up the artistic realization of the historical conception in genre modifications of the historical novels, to characterize the forms of psychological picture of personage's subjective world, to expose the features of innovation in understanding the life and creation of the specific historical personalities of the past. The analysis of manner of expressing, which shows new content, allowed to mark out the peculiarities of Shevchuk's poetics. Application sphere is a training courses.
