Kobrynskiy V. State control in the sphere of national security of Ukraine

The thesis is dedicated to theoretical and administrative-legal problems of the state control in the sphere of national security of Ukraine. The thesis defines the following concepts: state control, state surveillance, monitoring, principles of control, principles of control in the sphere of national security, security control subject to the provisions of the Strategy of national security of Ukraine. The opinion on inconsistency of the public control domination over the state control in this sphere has been proven. Principles, types, forms, and methods of control in the sphere of national security have been analyzed. Their specific character has been determined just in this sphere. For further improvement of the national legislation and practice of its application, suggestions as to the necessity to adopt a Concept of the state control in the sphere of national security of Ukraine have been formulated.
