Essay

The dissertation's main focus is on the political analysis of mechanisms of functioning of political business cycles in the context of social changes management. The author's model of interpenetration of political business cycles and processes related to social changes management, allows to establish chain dependence between the forming of electorate's rational expectations, political business cycles' amplitude, possibility to manipulate reforms, and overall state of socio-political system development. It was offered a number of recommendations concerning the possibility to avoid negative impact of political business cycles on social changes in present day Ukrainian society.
