Zacheslavsky O. Candidosis of the male urogenital system.

The thesis is devoted to the improvement of treatment efficacy of patients suffering from urogenital candidosis. The work bases on the results of anamne-sis examination, clinical course and various modern methods of diagnosis and efficiency of urogenital candidosis treatment modes in men. 502 patients were inspected during the research. The diagnosis of urogenital candidosis was es-tablished on the basis of complex inspection only in 86 (17.1 %) patients with the average age of (35.8 ± 8.0) years.The evaluation of effectiveness of the most widespread methods of uro-genital candidosis diagnosis are conducted after the criteria of sensitivity, speci-ficity and exactness. On the basis of realized analysis a diagnostic algorithm is created. The role of the domestic multiprobiotic "Simbiter" in treatment of uro-genital candidosis has been studied, metaphylactic effect of "Simbiter" has been proved, that gave the reason to recommend its application in complex therapy.
