Kazanzhy O. Ukrainian Concepts of Vasyl Kapnist's Creation.

The scientific work is devoted to the determination of Ukrainian concepts in V. Kapnist's creation. On the basis of a composite analysis of the writer's poetical and dramatic works the main ideological and subject principles, the poetics peculiarities, which give the opportunities to identify the creator's literary legacy as syncretic by its artistic - stylistic dominants are defined. The essential part of researching Ukrainian ideas in V. Kapnist's creation is the analysis of his outlook, civil - political activities, and historical - political conditions of national literature development. The work refutes the erroneous view of the Ukrainian literature process that took place at the end of XVIII - the beginning of XIX centuries as defective, confirming the thought about our literature polilinguism and peculiarity of its development at the end of XVIII - the beginning of XIX centuries, which was stipulated by amalgam of artistic type of mentality. It is inquired that in V. Kapnist's creation the concepts of, cordocentrism, naturalcoformity, national-emancipation, Ukrainian's tragedy and state building, folk-historical concepts, the essence of which expresses proukrainian paradigm of the writer's literature legacy are shown.
