The thesis is devoted to investigation of clinico-doppleographic peculiari-ties, cognitive impairment, vascular endothelium fitness of patients suffering from circulatory encephalopathy of I and II stages against the backdrop of internal ca-rotid artery stenosis (less than 70 %). It is provided that perhaps mostly frank cog-nitive impairment can be observed among those who suffer from circulatory en-cephalopathy with constrictive lesion of left carotid artery. There is no correlative relationship between cognitive functions' indicants and carotid artery stenosis's degree, and carotid intima-media thickness. Research results demonstrated direct interrelation between the nitrogen oxide activity in peripheral blood and circulatory encephalopathy advance. The examination of the neuron-specific enolase level in blood of those patients suffering from dyscirculatory encephalopathy defined that it cannot be considered the marker of early stages of inveterate cerebral ischemia. It was proved the appropriateness of combined usage of atorvastatin and tanakan while curing patients suffering from circulatory encephalopathy against the back-ground of constrictive lesion of carotid artery, with cognitive impairment syndrome
