The dissertation investigation deals with the problem which is not thoroughly enough considered in methodic literature and concerns the formation of scills among the secondary school 6-7 th form pupils towards approaching exercises both in theory and practice. The investigation represents the well-grounded and experimentally checked up system of orphographic assignments coordinated with the programme of the secondary scholl. The system of assignments is seclected in the manner of gradation of the succeding one-by-one assignments.
