Plachkov S. Hygienic assessment of impact of atmospheric contamination on morphofunctional state of the newborns of Dnipropetrovsk

Dissertation is devoted to the questions of investigation of level of atmospheric air contamination with solid and gas-like pollutants, their impact on findings of morphofunctlonal development of the newborns in one of the biggest industrial cities of Ukraine - Dnipropetrovsk. A complex hygienic assessment of spatial-temporal peculiarities of airogenic contamination of Dnipropetrovsk is given, dependences of changes of anthropometric findings of full-time newborns in temporal dynamics, taking into account sexual signs, are defined. Critical levels of atmospheric pollutants, which allow to carry out medical prognosis of physical status of newborns were defined. Physiologic meanings of heavy metals in the newborn organism an.d dose-depended links of their content in perinatal period of development were established. The new data on certain links of mechanism of heavy metals migration into fetal organism and in a newborn one were obtained. Regional standards of physical development of full-time newborns of Dnipropetrovsk area, taking into account their sex, were worked up and introduced. A complex of hygienic recommendations directed at prophylaxis of negative after-effects of influence of aerogenic pollutants on morphofunctional state and health of infants of industrially developed cities was justified.
