Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the pharmacognostical study the biological active substances (BAS) of Echinacea pallida grass and roots. The qualitative composition and quantitative content of groups BAS in studied raw material were determinated. By the methods of column and preparation chromatography 26 substances were obtained in the individual state. Melanin, umbelliferone, skopoletin, eskuletin, scopoline, eskulin were isolated for the first time. The methods of receipt of dry extract were determined, its acute toxicity, anti-inflammatory, reparatory, adaptational and antimicrobic activity were studied. The following draft sets of AND for the medical raw materials “Echinacea pallida Nutt. grass”, “Echinacea pallida Nutt. roots”, “Dry extract from Echinacea pallida Nutt. roots” were developed.
