The research work is devoted to the problem of usage of the individual teaching in the process of studying the history of mathematics in pedagogical universities. The concept of individual teaching is formulated and scientifically based in the work. The methodological maintenance for its practical realization in the system of training the future teachers of mathematics is created. The model of individual teaching was established. The methodological system of the individual teaching organization of history of mathematics in the pedagogical university is suggested. The system of control and assessment of the knowledge and skills in the process of studying the history of mathematics and their correction is improved.
