Essay

This dissertation focuses on the evolution of a project method in native and foreign pedagogic. The thesis reveals the essence of initial categories of the research; the structure of primary schoolchildren project activities has been defined. The educational and developing potential of a project method has been theoretically proved and realized in experimental methodology. The project method is proved to be an effective instrument of cognitive interests' development of primary schoolchildren if the realization of this method is provided by contextual, procedural and functional components aimed at the development of cognitive interests' characteristics, formation of project skills and social activities. The thesis has defined an aggregate of subjective and objective conditions of project method application as a means of cognitive interests' development of primary schoolchildren.
