Essay

The dissertation is devoted to analysis of transformation of understanding of human essence in heroic epic texts according to life orientations of person and society. The author analyses the nature, genesis and explication forms of human essence under the context of essential an existential aspects of poetic mythology and epic tradition. The individual genres of Ukrainian heroic epic are analyzed according to reveal the images of existential desires and human essence in them.
