The thesis is devoted to the complex research of the informational function of civil law. The definition, subject, object, content and means of realization of the informational function of civil law are characterized in the thesis. Three aspects of influence of the informational function of civil law are being outlined: the orientation aspect, program aspect and prognostic aspect, according to the three stages of behavior, which constitutes the object of the informational function of civil law, and their characteristics are given. Propositions on strengthening of the informational function of civil law are formulated, those on amending the Ukrainian legislation."
