Pinchuk Z. Cultivar response of winter triticale to technological measures of growing in nothern part of the Steppe of Ukraine.

The object is the sorts reaction on the main technological means of winter triticale growing. The purpose is the development of new technological elements of the winter triticale sorts growing under the northern Steppe zone conditions. The methods are: fielding, weighing-and-accounting, statistics. Novelty is that the genotypic reaction of winter triticale varieties under the conditions of the northern Steppe zone for the forest-steppe and steppe ecotypes was ascertained on seeding terms, seeding rates and fertilizing. The results are the following: Basic up-to-date technology elements have been improved for winter triticale high wheat yield growing with less economical and energetic costs. The sorts of the forest-steppe ecotype AD-52 and ADM-5 are recommended to seed on the first decade of september with seeding rate 5 mln./ha. The sorts of the steppe ecotype ‘Rosivske 6’ and ‘Suvenir’ – on the first and the second decades of september with seeding rate 4 mln./ha. The fertilizer recommended is P40K30.
