Stasyuk L. The political providing of the balanced ecological development of modern society

In present dissertation it is for the first time in the native political science idea was made the analysis of theoretical and practical character problems, related to the political providing of the balanced ecological development of modern society. The balanced eco-development is understood as socio-economic development at which the growth of people welfare is not accompanied by a deterioration of habitat and degradation of natural ecosystems. The policy priorities of the balanced eco-development were classified. They are determined: by a purpose (priority of society, state, person); on levels (global, regional, and national); space-time (secular and situational). The creation methods of the balanced eco-development society were examined: the world demographic situation stabilization; concordance of the economic and ecological paradigms of development; ecologization of science, engineering and production; creation and spreading of the ecologically favorable technologies; acceptance of the new package of international agreements and contracts; creation of the effective system of ecological education and science. Found out problems and possibilities of the balanced eco-development in Ukraine.
