Object of research is a process of forming and realization of public policy in the field of defense of economic competition. Purpose of research is a scientific-theoretical ground and determination of conceptual approaches, directions of control, and also suggestions on the improvement of mechanism of realization of state control in the field of defense of economic competition in Ukraine development. Research methods are approach of the systems, comparative, historical-legal, methods of generalization, analysis and synthesis. The practical value of the got results consists in that on their basis the row of concrete suggestions on the improvement of mechanism of state control in the field of defense of economic competition is grounded. The scientific novelty of the got results consists in that essence of mechanism of state control in the field of defense of economic competition is first grounded. Order of consideration of statements and businesses about violation of legislation about defense of economic competition; going near differentiating of plenary powers of organs of the Antimonopoly committee of Ukraine during realization of control in the field of defense of economic competition; order of lead through of verifications the antimonopoly organs of observance of management of legislation subjects about defense of economic competition; plenary powers on bringing in of management subjects to responsibility for violation of legislation about defense of economic competition improved.
