Shliakhturov D. Features of the Kidney Bean Productivity Formation Depending on Growing Technology in the Conditions of Northern Forest-Steppe

Subject of research - plant growth and development processes, kidney bean grain productivity and quality formation depending on technological practices. The purpose of research was the establishment of regularities of kidney bean (of the small-seed trunk variety Mavka) productivity formation depending on the mineral fertilizer dose, seeding method, seed rate and seed inoculation and its growing technology improvement. The research methods are field, measuring and weight, biochemical, statistical and mathematical, computational and comparative. The details of plant leaf area and symbiotic apparatus, photosynthetic potential and net photosynthesis productivity formation in the main stages of crop growth and development, yield formula indexes depending on the action of factors under study are established. Optimum combination of the seeding method, mineral fertilizer dose, seed rate and seed inoculation for the maximal kidney bean productivity formation is revealed, the evaluation of economic and energy efficiency of crop growing is conducted. The kidney bean growing technology which in the conditions of the northern part of the Ukrainian Forest-Steppe provides the obtaining of grain yield at a level of 2.49 t per ha is improved.
