Оbject - process of clearing sweet pepper; aim - the development of resource saving process of clearing sweet pepper; methods -new original methods and experimental installation are developed for the investigation of axial cutting of sweet pepper for measuring efforts of separating seeds from fruit pulp; novelty - investigated concerning the influence of geometrical parameters of cutting units on the process of axial cutting of sweet pepper are held; it is determined that cutting efforts reduce during the change of the form of the cutting edges prong from rectangular to curvilinear sharpening; mathematic model of axial cutting of sweet pepper; analytical equation for calculating efforts of axial cutting of sweet pepper is obtained; results - designed machine for providing the process of clearing sweet pepper MCSP-1; introduced into production on food and processing enterprises; branch - food and processing industry.
