The thesis is devoted to phytochemical, morphology and anatomic study of Artemisia absinthium L., Artemisia vulgaris L., Artemisia austriaca Jacq. The physical and chemical study of etheric oils is conducted by the method of gaseous - liquid chromatography on microcapillaries columns using mass - spectrometry detection; 14 matters of flavones nature are selected and identified by the methods of UV-, IR- and PMR - spectroscopy. First by the high-efficient liquid chromatography method we studied ad 17 aminoacids From the grass of all three types of plants were abstracted and identified by the methods of UV, IR, NMR and PMR spectroscopy: chlorogenic, neochlorogenic and cofeic acids. In the grass of A. absinthium L. also founded out rosemary acid, to the grass of A. vulgaris L. - ursolic acid; from the grass of plants were identified the contain of catechins in the period of flowering. We studied contain of sum of carothinoids, ascorbic acid and 21 macro- and microelements was determined in the grass of plants by the method of atomic-absorption spectrometry. We founded the morphology-anatomic and microdiagnostic signs of vegetable raw material of A. absinthium L., A. vulgaris L., A. austriaca Jacq. We marked are maximal concentrations of etheric oil, azulens, flavonoids in the period of flowering (August - September). We studied the bacteriostatic, mycostatic and antiphlogistic effects of etheric oils and medicine remedy of all three types of studying plants
