Andreyeva O. The limits of the human: to the situation of postpostmodernism

The object of research – a human being and the changes it undergoes in the process towards the situation of postpostmodernism which is being conceptualized at the present time. The aim – the comprehension of the changes that happen to the limits of the human in the process towards postpostmodernism, with the accentuation on “the death of man” in postmodernism and “the return” of man in postpostmodernism. Methods – method of comparative analysis, historic-philosophic methodology, method of contextual analysis of concepts, interdisciplinary approach. The theoretical results of the thesis and its novelty. The changes that happen to the limits of the human in the process from modernity towards postpostmodernism are analyzed. It is stated that contemporary situation is characterized by overcoming postmodern fragmentation of man and by partial stabilization of the limits of the human. It is revealed that the situation of postpostmodernism presupposes a combination of tendencies directed to overcoming the simulation of reality and the crisis of subjectivity which are typical for postmodernism. The practical significance of the work. The results of research can be used in further investigation of the problem of man in philosophic anthropology and for preparing lecture courses on Philosophy, Cultural Studies, Philosophic Anthropology, Postclassic Philosophy and other disciplines.
