Thesis is dedicated to the study of the influence of diabetes mellitus type 2 upon the peculiarities of clinical flow of CAD, myocardial functional status, markers of dyslipidemia and inflammation, as well as elaboration of modern approaches towards hypolipidemic treatment. Role of DM type 2 in left ventricle remodelling and diastolic function impairment acceleration, early vascular calcinosis according to MSCT data, as well as extracranial arteries intima-media complex thickening and resistance growth was justified. High correlation was found between total calcium index and indices of lipids and carbohydrates metabolism and system inflammation marker (C-RP). Choices in differential approaches towards hypolipidemic treatment was justified, and its influence upon clinical and hemodynamic status in the patients with CAD combined with DM type 2 was clarified.
