Popovych Y. Methods of surgical correction of lower extremities critical ischemia in patients with distal forms of atherosclerosis.

The object – occlusive sthenotic alteration of femoro-popliteо-tibial arterial segment of lower extremities; the aim– to improve surgical treatment results of lower extremities distal atherosclerosis forms; the methods – general clinical examination, laboratorial, instrumental and statistical results analysis; the novelty –for the first time complex patient examination, including angiography, ultrasonography diagnostics, radionuclide angiography with surgical technique choice was proposed to conduct; the results – the surgical treatment algorithm for patients with critical ischemia in case of distal forms atherosclerosis was worked out; results were applied to the work of Transcarpathian Regional Hospital surgical clinic, to the educational process at the medical and postgraduate education departments of Uzhgorod national university; the field– surgery.
