Essay

The thesis deals with the research of the influence of immobilizing stress in condition of hypofunction of pineal gland on chronorhythms of morphofunctional renal and pineal activity in old rats and correction by melatonin and epithalon the violations caused by stress-factors. With a help of modern metods of investigation, the circadian chronorhythms of the functional renal activity, also micro- and ultrastractural changes of kidneys and pineal gland and activity of pro- and antioxydative protection in old rats under conditions of 1-hours immobiizing stress action on the background of physiological and hypofunction of pineal gland. It has been investigated the role of epiphysical hormone-melatonin and peptide bioregulator epithalon in regulation of circadian violations, which caused by pathogenic factors of the different etiology. The pointed indole and synthetic peptide of pineal gland has been found to have stressprotective ability. Was shown, that administration of exogenous melatonine and epithalon has positive influence to renew posrstressors changes of morfofunctional condition of pineal gland, kidneys and pro- antioxidative homeostasis. Howere, melatonin has better ability to renew functional renal characteristics, to increase antioxidative protection, to decrease intensity of peroxidation, but epithalon – to restore morphofunctional changes in kidneys and pineal gland.
