The foundation and development of oikonimikal system of Eastern Podillya during XIV-XX cent is researched in this dissertation lexical-semantic, word-making and structural analysis of oikonyms of researched region is made and the productivity of certain word-making models of inhabited localit ies of the territory of Vinnitsa oblast are determined. Word-building structure, the semantic of basic names of toponyms, found on the teritory of Vinnitska oblast prove the thought about the formation of oikonymyc system of the named territory even in ancient Ukrainian period.
