Thesis is devoted to defining administrative and law grounds of state control in the field of motor transportations. A notion "the object of state control in the field of motor transportations" is formulated; the essence of state control in this field is defined, main directions of state control under motor transportations are elucidated and classified. The place and powers of state authority and local self-government authorities taking into account their role in realization of control under motor transportations are elucidated; procedures of control activity in the field of motor transportations are reported.
