In this dissertation civil-law relations of ownership are studied where a personal plot of land (farmstead) is their object. The basic laws governing the development of natural persons' ownership of a personal plot (farmstead) were considered. Interrelation of such categories as "farmstead", "a personal plot of land" and "dwelling house" as well as their peculiarities as objects of the civic rights were determined. General theoretic characteristics of ownership relations and right of ownership of a personal plot of land (farmstead) was carried out. A juridical nature of these relations was determined, peculiarities of legal regime of a personal plot of land (farmstead) as an object of civil-law relations were shown and grounds for acquiring and termination of ownership of a personal plot of land (farmstead) were determined. The concept of ownership of a personal plot of land (farmstead) in objective and subjective senses was formulated. The comparative characteristics of provisions of various spheres of legislation on protection of ownership of a personal plot of land (farmstead) were carried out. Proposals to be aimed at perfection of civil and land laws which norms regulate ownership relations were worked out on the base of generalization of state of legal regulation of ownership relations as for a personal plot of land (farmstead)
