Kordonec O. Bohdan Lepkyy's lyrical-impressionistic prose.

The dissertation deals with the first attempts to systematize the research of B. Lepkyy's lyrical-impressionistic prose in Ukrainian literary studies. For this purpose the critical reception of writer's prosaic inheritance was analysed, the stylish evolution of artist's novelty, his problematic and basic reasons were elucidated, B. Lepkyy's originality of fragmentary prose was traced and found out, prosaist's innovation in mastering artistic facilities and adopting the impressionistic writing manners were comprehended, B. Lepkyy's stories lyrical-impressionistic beginning and stylish syncretism from West Ukrainian intelligentsia's life were explored, the writer's lines of individual creative innovation both at the level of poetics and at the level of problematic were found out.
