Essay

The thesis contains theoretically grounded and empirically researched peculiarities of ethnic and national and spiritual concepts, levels of the national consciousness and civicism of students depending on intensity and depth of the influence of Ukrainian literature and Ukraine studying disciplines on them. It is shown that the students directly connected to studying of Ukrainian literature, language, Ukrainian folklore, history, that contribute to deeper understanding of their people's and nation's soul, display more expressive signs of highly developed national consciousness and civicism.
