Essay

The dependence of anemia occurence in multiple myeloma (MM) on bone marrow plasmacytosis, the level of blood serum protein, iron metabolism indeces, the level of cytokines was studied. The significance of antiinflammatory cytokines levels, i.e. the factor tumor necrosis, interleukin-1, interleukin-6, in anemia occurrence in MM was studied.
