Essay

The dissertation is devoted to solving the urgent scientific and practical problem of modern hematology – monitoring of hemolytic processes at B-NHL and determining diagnostic criteria for predicting the development of immune hemolytic complications for minimize them. An associative relationship between the D− phenotype of the Rhesus system and the development of B-NHL was found. We found that hemolysis in B-NHL inhibits the major antitumor mechanisms of rituximab, complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC) and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC), which may reduce the effectiveness of therapy with monoclonal antibodies (MCA), namely rituximab. According to the results of the work, we recommended that patients with B-NHL monitor clinical and hematological indicators of hemolysis: anti-erythrocyte antibodies, free hemoglobin (fHb), erythrocyte osmotic stability and haptoglobin (Hp) as an additional criterion of therapy effectiveness during of each regular course of antitumor therapy. We recommended to prevent the alloimmunization of D– individuals for reduce the risk of developing B-NHL.
