Krynytska O. The implementation of the communicative strategies in the literary text (on the basis of the late 1800s - early 1900s Ukrainian modern drama)

The dissertation for the candidate's degree in philology in speciality 10.02.01 - the Ukrainian language. - Precarpathian National University named after Vasyl Stefanyk. - Ivano-Frankivsk, 2009. The functional meaning of the communicative strategies in drama text is highlighted in the thesis. The linguistic means of their implementation are indicated and the communicative structure of the drama text from the perspective of the communicative strategies is analyzed in the thesis. On the basis of the factual material study the communicative strategy is regarded as a universal category of speech. The structural, semantic, and pragmatic parameters are described; principal functions of the communicative strategies in drama text are identified (text-formative, conflict-regulating, and image-formative functions); the communicative strategy as a main means of establishing of the interactive code between the author and the reader is substantiated; the correlation of the author's and character's communicative strategies in drama texts is retraced; the means of communicative strategies formation and expression in drama text at various linguistic levels are revealed.
