Essay

The background theory and world-wide experience in regulation of economy, food items supply and demand are analyzed in present thesis. The analysis of agriculture of Crimean Autonomy is performed, with the emphasis on meat production. The methodological principles are presented for evaluation of the total number of consumers in this resort area and of the food provision level all over the year. The evaluation of meat and meat products consumption by one person during one year is done on the basis of the average population income. These data are the input for the near future prognosis of meat consumption in the Crimea. The supply-demand balance of the meat consumption is estimated for nearest perspective, taking into account seasonal variation of consumers, the production level and specific meat nutrition of individuals belonging to particular population groups with different national traditions and religion.
