Shapoval V. Constitutional-legal status of rural, settlement, city mayor in Ukraine

The theoretical and normative problems of legal status of rural, settlement, city authorities are studied fully in the dissertation. The concept of legal status of head is formulated, a place and role of the local authority in the system of local self-government of Ukraine are studied. Rural, settlement, city authorities in the system of organs of local self-government occupies one of the central places, as he is the main official of territorial mass, as a primary subject of local self-government. He is an interlink between all elements of the system of local self-government, provides the co-ordination of activity of all system concerning the decision of questions of local value, both in the context of its positive achievement and in the context of perspective (possible) legal responsibility for ill-timed or improper practical achievement of objective staff of local self-government. The basic stages of becoming and development of legal status of rural, settlement, city mayor have been analyzed in the work. The correlation of legal status of mayor with other organs of local self-government have been shown in the dissertation.
