Padalka R. Dynamics of surnames in Slavyansk district, Donetsk region (the end of the XIX - the beginning of the XXI centuries).

The objects are surnames in Slavyansk district, Donetsk region of the end of the XIX - the beginning of the XXI centuries. The aim is to find out the dynamics of the surnames of concrete district (Slavyansk) by synchronic-diachronical approach. The methods are descriptive, statistical, comparable-synchronous; comparable-diachronical, classification; structurally-word-formation, lexicographic analysis, reconstruction, content-analysis, descriptive-analytical. The formation of Ukrainian surnames in the XX century is analyzed in the work. The process of occupation of the territory of Slavyansk district at the end of the XIX - the beginning of the XXI centuries is observed. The research of Slavyansk aboriginal, ecclesiastically Christian and borrowed names was become the parts of denominative surnames. Changes, based on the semantic basis of surnames, in semantic groups of names in Slavyansk were established. In particular, semantic and functional dynamics, structure of paradigms of denominative surnames and appellative-formed surnames was retraced. The paradigm of surnames generated from place of residence and the dynamics of valent basis of surnames was fond. The groups of surnames lying behind the limits of paradigms were defined. The analysis of main principles of formation of surnames in Slavyansk district, in particular the dynamics of anthropoformants, was done. The dynamics of lexico-semantic and compound type of surnames in this district was described. Accentual diversity of anthropologic items was fixed. The vocabulary of surnames in Slavyansk analyzed factual material that has 11595 nominative units. Application sphere are training courses and compiling of the thesauruses.
