Kudryns'ka A. Self-employment as a type of economic behaviour

The thesis is dedicated to examining of self-employment which is considered as a type of economic behaviour. On the basis of system analysis institutional preconditions of establishing, principles of functioning and factors of the development of this social phenomenon are characterized. The specificity of the self-employment and of the economic behaviour strategies is investigated on the regional level. It is realized through concrete forms of engaging economically active population into working activity. The most expressed alternative of the self-employment is proved to be enterprising behaviour. The directions of the optimization of self-employment in modern Ukrainian society are examined.
