In this thesis determined the essence of phenomenon "political power" that in the last time often uses to characterize the subjects of transitive Ukrainian society. Special attention gives to the process of formation and development of groups of interest in Ukrainian political system. Determined, that the specific of their activity in many cases reflect the structure of soviet socio-political system. Grounded the necessity of introduction to political science the concept "political power", which describes the essence of Ukrainian groups of interest. Implemented the verification of new concept through the analyzing of formation of groups of interest in Crimea.
