Essay

The thesis deals with complex analysis of the Russian factor in the parliamentary elections in Ukraine during 1994-2007. As a result of this neighboring-country policy we witness constant interferences in the Ukrainian domestic-policy processes, which are revealed in different spheres of social activities, for example, information, economic and even ideological views, as well as in the political technologies. The basic elements of such Russian influence, its sources, peculiarities and results are analyzed. Also studied are the influence mechanisms on the political parties and Ukrainian electors in terms of election campaigns from the independence till the last Supreme Council elections.
