The Thesis investigates the Chinese monumental sculpture. The work defines the functions and artistic principles of the sculpture in different historical periods of development. This is for the first time in the Ukrainian art criticism the Thesis examines development of the monumental sculpture and special art education in China in the XXth – beginning of the XXIst centuries.
