Chubenko D. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug induced gastropathy in rheumatoid arthritis patients: prophylaxis and treatment

Research object - Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug induced gastropathy in rheumatoid arthritis patients; purpose - to increase efficiency of diagnosis, prophylaxis and treatment of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug induced gastropathy in rheumatoid arthritis patients; methods - there are clinical, instrumental, immunological, morphological and statistical; novelty - there are firstly determined the immunologic features (pro-inflammatory cytokines both tumor necrosis factor-a and interleukine-8 mean levels in gastric juice) and gastric mucosa morphologicall peculiarities in non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug induced gastropathy in rheumatoid arthritis patients with Нelicobacter pylori infection and without; the new is the definition of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs gastropathy risk factors for patients with this pathology and unfavorable outcome of proton pump inhibitors monotherapy neuro-net model; results - non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs gastropathy risk factors for patients with this pathology were: age more then 50 years, moderate/severe rheumatoid arthritis activity, long-term disease more then 5 years, gastric juice interleukine-8 levels more then 50 pg/ml and peptic ulcer in the past; resistence to proton pump inhibitors monotherapy was associated with age more then 60 years, long-term diaseаse more then 5 years and gastric juice interleukine-8 levels more then 200 pg/ml; it was introduced in work of the Donetsk city clinical hospital N 1, Mariupol city hospital N2 (Donetsk region), Poltava city clinical hospital N 1 (therapeutic departments), Donetsk region clinical medical agglomeration, therapeutic clinic of internal medicine chair N3 (National medical univercity named after O.O.
