Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the administrative-legal activity of the subjects of authoritative powers in fighting poaching in Ukraine. The historical-legal and modern administrative-legal aspects of the problem are analyzed, as well as the notion of poaching is formulated due to the people's rights to secure environment. The author offered his comprehension of poaching and classified it in accordance with the subject of its commitment. The administrative and regulator activity of central and local executive authorities, of State Committee for Water Saving in Ukraine, of State Committee of Fishing Industry, and of State Committee of Forestry in fighting poaching is analyzed. The proper forms, methods and functions of militia activity are also characterized. The content and the ways of regulation in fighting poaching as well as basic directions of their improvement are defined. The ways of improvement of legislative and administrative activity in preventing and ceasing of illegal hunting and fishing are determined, too.
