During the epidemic and mass immunization of population with complex diphtheria-tetanus preparations there was 40 times the increase of serologic investigations. In this work it is demonstrated the analysis of serologic investigations with a diagnostic scope and according to epidemiologic indications during the period of 1990-2008. The implementation of additional technological procedures in order to increase the information content of a serologic test, i.e. passive haemaglutination reaction, has been highlighted. It is stated that 50% of hipodiagnostic on a primary diagnosis level and around 30% of hipo- and hiperdiagnostics on a final diagnosis level are correlated with the usage of only basic levels of diphtheria antitoxin. Serologic examinations in the centers of diphtheria infection have proved that 65,8% of contact people were to be exposed to an urgent immunization, and 12,2% had characteristic serologic signs of diphtheria infection. Comparing a share of different population layers with characteristic serologic indications and actual registrated levels of diphtheria infection, there have been identified concrete scales of hipodiagnostic.
