The thesis covers issues on researching the dynamics of underground water levels with application of geographic information systems and mathematical modeling of geofiltration. The model indicates a hydrogeological object under research and enables retrieving new information for a subsequent analysis thereof. Dynamics of underground water levels and adjacent territories are examined. Major factors and the general laws of formation of a level of underground waters in the broken conditions of water exchange are established. Key words: minor rivers, underground waters, mathematical modelling of geofiltration, GIS-technologies, valley of Lybid river.
