The object: evolution of the transaction costs under the modern economy. The aim of research: exposure of the essence of the transaction costs, disclosure of the modern information and communications technologies influence on the level of the transaction costs and determination of the measures aimed at minimizing them. Methods of research: combination of abstract and concrete, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, system, historical, comparative and statistical analysis. New results: scientific concept about modern state of transaction costs and the information economy factors influence on their level have been advanced. Sphere of the use: research effort, development and improvements of analytical tools of information market of Ukraine.
