Essay

Theoretical and experimental determination of wire rod removal from uncoiler and those of wire removal from traction drum on twisting deformation degree influence of geometric parameters is realized the first while wire-drawing. The first theoretical determination is introduced according of influence of speed and geometrical characteristics of multiple drawing process on twisting deformation of wire as well as range of levels wherefrom wire coil is removed to friction reel of the drum, allowing alternating wire deformation by twisting when it is being moved via transfer devices of the drawing mill. Engineering technique of multiple drawing routes is developed for conditions when metal strengthening degree becomes smaller. This paper presents the first theoretical determination of draw-die rotational frequency values allowing alternating wire twisting with higher metal deformability margin for various technological schemes of wire-drawing process. The research results are presented as Technical Propositions for metalware enterprise OOO AORIST (Dnepropetrovsk) and has been accepted for use. Results of this work are also used in the course of studies in National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine.
