Oliinyk S. Intertextual, Genre and Style Characteristic of Oles Berdnyk's Science Fiction.

The thesis is dedicated to examination of intertextual, genre and stylistic characteristics of Berdnyk's science fiction prose. Genre specificities of not adequately explored literary heritage of Oles Berdnyk have been investigated. Into the thesis is proved scientifically that large majority of subgenre of writer's science fiction and fantasy is represented. Style peculiarities of Oles Berdnyk's works are examined. The individual creative way of style, which has vivid features of romantic and lyrical style, is researched. Intertextual relations of Oles Berdnyk's works are analyzed. Various cues, half-words and subtle implications of writer's text receive the study in the thesis. Discovered in given thesis key themes, peculiarities of character's image making and ways of building of fantastical reality help to describe the genre and style characteristics of Berdnyk's science fiction, detect the special feature of image transformation of reality by writer mind the demands of science fiction and fantasy.
