The essence and meaning of legality and discipline in the bodies of internal affairs are elucidated in the thesis. The system of subjects who guarantee legality and discipline in the bodies of internal affairs is defined; legal grounds of guaranteeing legality and discipline in the bodies of internal affairs are analyzed; the place of internal security units' activity in the sphere of guaranteeing legality and discipline in the bodies of internal affairs of Ukraine is elucidated, peculiarities of such activity are defined. Conditions, measures, forms and methods of guaranteeing legality and discipline by internal security units are specified.
