Shegeda O. The modernist trends in the poetry of 'Moloda Muza'

The investigation covers the modernistic trends in the poetry of "Moloda Muza", which can be identified at various levels of the artistic imagery, i.e structural and compositional, phonetic, rhythmical and lexical. The textual analysis of the poetic works of the Moloda Muza authors demonstrates the stylistic eclecticism of their creative activities which is manifested by the coexistence of such features as symbolism, decadence, impressionism, secession and neo-romanticism, expressionism pre-formations, as well as by a wide range of stylistic devices which are used by the authors and are characteristic of the above trends. The interpretation of poetic texts envisages the application of such research methods as structural and semiotic, hermeneutical, comparative and typological.
