Essay

The dissertation is development of the optimal approach for prophylaxis and treatment of rebleeding from esophageal and gastric varices in cirrhotic patients. Principles of prognostic assessment of the risk of variceal rebleeding are on the basis of work that allow to separate the high risk of variceal rebleeding in early time after admission to the hospital. Morphological data shownthat esophageal varicose veins with the signs of connective tissue dysplasia, connective tissue desorganization and focal destruction are the substrate of bleeding.
